Troubleshooting/logs

Looking in to the router logs is always cumbersome but I have a tip for you.

If any of the router interfaces goes down and you have enabled logging, use these two commands to check the

exact time of the fault:

service timestamps log uptime

service timestamps log datetime localtime

The first command notes the event counting from the uptime of the router, whereas the second one logs according to the clock settings of your router.
